QuickBooks Online is the most popular accounting software in the USA. The QuickBooks Online courses from Petterson & Bennett will give you the necessary knowledge for work in this program, as well as for maintaining US customers bookkeeping. The purpose of this training is to provide information so that you can create your own Intuit account, be able to add a database for the client, choose the right subscription level for him with the optimal fees, set up accounting accounts and conduct transactions related to his business. You will also be able to operate with reports and know where you can get or verify needed information Upon completion, you will receive an appropriate certificate of attendance from Petterson & Bennett, access to the free QuickBooks Online Certification exam from the official developer - Intuit Inc., as well as handouts and tips for passing it.

What is the program of the courses Quickbooks online?

Program of this course focused on practical accounting peculiarities / issues, that user can faced in real life circumstances. It includes 5 lessons 2,5-3 hours each (12,5 hours in total) Classes are conducted in form of a video conference for group of up to 20 people. During lessons instructor explain and show on examples information, review, test general understanding among students, answer to their questions. Students will be added to the group in viber, where they will be able to ask questions after the lessons and share experience, interesting cases and achievements.

The course covers the following lessons:

1. The Basics of Accounting. Includes basic information about accounting peculiarities in the USA, double entry method, account structure and financial reporting. You will also learn the difference between cash and accrual accounting methods.

2. Introduction to QuickBooks Online Course. Here we will show you what this program is like, register your account, and consider subscription and payment options, get acquainted with the interfaces. We will also customize general settings.

3. Client Onboarding. We will learn how to customize the chart of accounts to the needs of customers, add goods/services, customers list. Additionally, you will figure out how to do accounting based on cots centers and how to work with classes and locations (difference between them)

4. Managing your Clients and Work. Consider how to manage a subscription, a list of customers and employees, as well as ways to communicate with the client.

5. Conducting Transactions with Customers and Suppliers. We will learn how to add new counterpart, carry out correctly transactions with suppliers and customers.

6. Banking and Tools. The lesson includes information on working with banking operations, such as bank synchronization, the correct transactions, rules creation. We will show main peculiarities when working with multicurrency accounts.

7. Reporting. One of the main lessons. Here we will learn to check the correctness of operations, control the financial situation and profitability of the company, and consider other useful reports.

8. End of Period Activities. We will find out the list of operations that should be carried out by the end of the period, and we will study accounting tools that will help in this.

Please note that this course does not cover payroll and taxation of client activities and the presentation of annual tax reports.

Cost of Offline QuickBooks Courses in Kyiv

QuickBooks Online course cost 8,500 UAH (or 200 USD) and can be paid in cash, via bank transfer or through our website. Payment is made after registration, but before the first lesson, by bank transfer or from website (transfer to Privatbank card is possible). For corporate clients, individual or group classes are possible although the fees are determined separately. The price depends on the number of employees for whom classes and areas of activity of your company are held. Due to current situation in Ukraine we postpone onsite courses and will start them as soon as it will be possible.

Requirements for participants

Each participant should have a laptop with working Wi-Fi (for practical work during the lesson) and be have at least Intermediate knowladge of English, as English terminology, handouts, English-language videos will be used and the exam itself will also be in a foreign language. Mandatory homework will also be set (if you want to get a ProAdvisor Certificate).

When does QuickBooks Online course start?

Courses starting on eather Saturday, September 13, 2025, from 10:25АM till 1:00 PM Kyiv Time (Eastern European Summer Time Zone). 

Individual course QuickBooks Online

Individual course has almost the same program as basic online course but is more customized for your specific pequliarities. Duration of the course is 13 hours (5 lessons 2,5-3 hours each) with individual schedule and approach. Lessons can be taken as during working days (from Monday till Friday) or on weekend as well. Price - UAH 31,875 or $750 per course.

Individual consultation on QuickBooks Online

Additionally, to the courses with fixed syllabus you can choose individual (private) QuickBooks Online lessons, during which we will concentrate on cases and issues that you are interested in. We will show you how to set up chart of accounts correctly or do accounting for particular transactions.

It’s only you who determine when to start and end our lessons and what issues you want to cover.

Private lessons cost 2,750 UAH or 65 USD per hour.
